Before the dust is even settled on the Gold Coast for the national team world champs, we present you with the olympic style medal tables.

These are the official unofficial medal tables for the Pool, Ocean and the combination of Pool, Ocean and SERC. In case you didn't know, gold wins from silver, and silver beats bronze. No surprises here, but this also means that 1 gold is more important than a gazillion bronze.

Pool

At the top of the medal table we see it is well evened out between Italy, Germany and New Zealand. Australia got on the podium often, but missed out a lot on the top step. Still a  number of countries with not a huge background in the lifesaving sport picked up a medal.

Ocean

Powerhouse Australia is still a thing for the ocean events, although we slowly but surely can say that countries like Egypt, France, Japan and South Africa are guaranteed to grab a medal here and there. Also specificity rules, hello Egypt! When was even the last time they didn't win those beach relays?

Overall = SERC + Pool + Ocean

Here is the end bill. "The one they all wanna win." Your olympic style medal table. And it is different to the point scoring table. A whopping 18 countries win at least one medal

Note: these are all unofficial medal tables, and we eagerly  await the Aussie adapted to medal per capita medal table where they remain on top.
