The 12th edition of The World Games will take place from 7th to 17th August 2025. The host city will be the mega-city Chengdu in the People’s Republic of China. Lifesaving Sport (Pool events only) has again been included in the programme along with more than 30 other sports. Because of the successful conduct of the Lifesaving events at TWG 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, the ILS has been permitted to increase the number of athletes who can participate from 100 to 120.
