Held in Ireland for the first few years before returning home to Wales, this prestigious and challenging event brings together competitors from across the Celtic waters including Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall, France and other European Countries. We hope that the 2011 event will be bigger and better than previous years bringing in hundreds of competitors from across the UK and Europe.

Teams battle it out in the surf and on the sand, putting their surf life saving, team and physical skills to the test. An evening presentation with entertainment follows with a chance for all participating teams to come together for a dinner at a local venue.

The event is scheduled to be run on Saturday the 13th of August on Aberavon Beach. The youth and seniors will compete on the same day with Individual and Team events as follows:

The following Sunday 14th August, sees the Great Britain Team National Ranking Event taking place on Aberavon Beach, therefore it will be a great weekend, full of excitement and lots to see. This is a great opportunity for countries across Europe to join together to compete and socialise.
